The new main oil pipeline is being built as part of the Strategic Project «South», a long-term large-scale program of Transneft PJSC. The Project aims at increasing the capacity of the main oil pipelines that supply raw hydrocarbons to the refineries based in the Krasnodar Territory. It will also create a new and robust transport corridor for diesel fuel exports to the South of Russia and abroad.
